It's a guy's movie. Sure, the book won the 1984 Pulitizer Prize, but Glengarry Glen Ross is not a movie for all people. There's some blue language (it's David Mamet). It's a guy's sweat-shop world view that it explores. There is no happy ending.

I had a post up based on a bad premonition on Friday. My premonition got so bad, I deleted the post after it was up for only two hours. A listing that is supposed to close today now had two competing properties for sale across the street that weren't there when the contract went into place two weeks ago. Simple supply and demand. The listing I had was first place because there was no second place. With all the huge supply out there, if the buyer wanted this area, my listing was their only choice. That changed on June 21st when a (frankly) better property listed at $152,000. Then Tuesday, June 24th a much better property listed for $154,000. At a $64 a month difference, the buyer could now go from no updates and 1.5 baths to all updated and 3.5 baths, backing to the bluffs.
At 1:30 today, the buyer chose the latter option.
The buyer walked. The buyer is buying one of the competitors across the street.
